Incheon Chinatown

Incheon

Overview

Formed with the opening of Incheon's port in 1883, Incheon Chinatown is Korea's only Chinatown, where red paifang gates and Chinese-style buildings create an exotic mood. Famous as the birthplace of Korean-Chinese jjajangmyeon, it is lined with a Jjajangmyeon Museum and long-established Chinese restaurants. The Three Kingdoms mural street and Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village connect directly for an easy walking tour. The streets are free and always open, with shop and restaurant hours (generally 10:00-21:00) varying. Right in front of Incheon Station (Line 1) for excellent access.
