Overview
The Incheon Open Port Modern Architecture Street preserves old Japanese and Western-style banks, shops, and consulate buildings erected after the 1883 port opening, retaining the look of Incheon from over a century ago. Modern buildings like the former First Bank of Japan now serve as museums and exhibition halls, great for understanding modern history, and the stone streets with vintage lamps are a popular photo spot. Located between Chinatown and Jayu Park for a combined visit. The street is free and always open (individual museums charge separately), within walking distance of Incheon Station (Line 1).
