Overview
Fremont Street Experience is a five-block pedestrian mall in downtown Las Vegas that preserves the retro charm of Old Vegas. Its centerpiece is Viva Vision, the world's largest LED screen canopy stretching 457m long and 27m high, which puts on dazzling light shows every hour. The SlotZilla zipline lets you fly above the street, and vintage casinos and live-music bars line both sides, creating a more down-to-earth and freewheeling atmosphere than the Strip. Free admission (zipline $29-59). About 15 minutes from the Strip by bus or Uber.
Travel Tips
Visit after 9 PM for the most spectacular LED shows. The Zoomline (upper course) zipline is longer and more thrilling; book online in advance for a discount.
