Overview
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum holds the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, the father of Vietnamese independence. Completed in 1975 and modeled on Lenin's Mausoleum, it is built of gray granite. The surrounding complex - including the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda - is essential for understanding modern Vietnamese history.
