The roughly 2.2km coastal promenade from the lighthouse to Bronze Beach is one of Durban's most scenic walks, where dolphins and whales are sometimes spotted. The Gateway Theatre of Shopping is one of the Southern Hemisphere's largest malls, and beachfront restaurants serve fresh seafood with Indian Ocean sunrise views.
