Overview
Design Museum Gent is Belgium's only dedicated design museum, housed in the 18th-century Hotel de Coninck mansion. Its collection spans Art Nouveau furniture to contemporary industrial design and Belgian fashion. The Victor Horta Art Nouveau furniture collection is particularly impressive, and the contrast between the modern extension and the 18th-century mansion is architecturally interesting. Annual special exhibitions are internationally acclaimed. Admission about EUR 10. 3-minute walk from Gravensteen Castle.
Opening Hours
Mon-Tue/Thu-Fri 09:30-17:30, Sat-Sun 10:00-18:00 (closed Wed).
