Overview
Designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano and completed in 2012, The Shard rises 310m as Western Europe's tallest building. Its distinctive shard-of-glass silhouette has made it a new landmark on the London skyline, and the 'View from The Shard' observation deck on floors 68-72 offers 360-degree views over the Thames and the city. On clear days visibility can reach up to 65km. Adult admission to the viewing deck about GBP 32 (advance booking recommended). Right next to London Bridge tube station.
