Overview
Built to commemorate the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar, this iconic London square is dominated by the 52m Nelson's Column at its center. The four bronze lion statues and fountains are popular photo spots, and the square hosts major public events such as New Year's Eve countdowns and the annual Christmas tree lighting.
