Overview
Connected to Hulhumale by bridge, Rasfannu is an artificial beach on the southwest side of Male popular with locals for sunset gatherings. Cafes and restaurants buzz along the shore, especially in the evenings when families fill the area. Revealing swimwear is restricted, but sunbathing, walking, and dining are all fine. Pairs well with Hulhumale for a half-day. Free admission. About 10 minutes by bridge from Hulhumale.
