Overview
Penang Hill rises 833 m above sea level and has been served by a funicular railway since 1923, reaching the summit in about 5 minutes. From the top, panoramic views stretch across George Town, the Penang Bridge, and the mainland, and it's 5-7 degrees cooler than the city below. The Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, opened in 2018, is another popular draw. Funicular round trip about MYR 30. About 20 minutes by Grab from George Town.
