Overview
Opened in 2021, Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen is the world's first publicly accessible art storage facility, opening the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum's 150,000-piece collection to the public. The 39.5m bowl-shaped building is clad in mirror panels reflecting the surroundings, and inside visitors can transparently observe storage, restoration, and research work. The rooftop hosts a restaurant and a small forest garden with 360-degree views of Rotterdam. Admission about EUR 22.50. 5-minute walk from Eendrachtsplein metro station.
