Opened in 1996, this 800m cable-stayed bridge features a 139m asymmetric pylon that resembles a swan's neck, earning it the nickname 'The Swan.' Spanning the Maas River with effortless elegance, it symbolizes Rotterdam's modern identity and is especially spectacular when illuminated at night. From the bridge deck, you can see the old city center to the north and the skyscrapers of Kop van Zuid to the south. Free to visit. 3-minute walk from Wilhelminaplein tram or metro stop.
