Overview
Built in the 15th century by Danish king Eric VII, Malmöhus is one of Northern Europe's oldest Renaissance castles. Today it houses the Malmö Museum, with exhibitions on history, art, and natural history. The moated castle and surrounding Kungsparken form a beloved local retreat, filled with picnickers in summer. An aquarium inside makes it especially popular with families.
Travel Tips
Museum entry is free. Pair your visit with a picnic in the surrounding park or with the on-site aquarium.
