Overview
The National Museum of China spans roughly 200,000㎡, making it one of the world's largest museums, located on the east side of Tiananmen Square. Its core exhibits — Ancient China and The Road of Rejuvenation — trace 5,000 years of Chinese civilization from Neolithic pottery and bronze artifacts like the Simuwu Ding to modern historical records. Admission is free, but daily capacity is capped at 8,000 visitors, so booking online at least 7 days ahead is mandatory. Directly at Exits C/D of Tiananmen East Station (Metro Line 1).
