Overview

Gangguan is a cozy harbor in downtown Tongyeong, boasting the beautiful port scenery that gives the city its 'Naples of the East' nickname. Restored turtle ships and panokseon warships are displayed at the harbor, and around it a live-fish market, chungmu gimbap and honey-bread shops, and cafes line up as the hub of Tongyeong food travel. In the evening, harbor lights reflected on the water create a romantic mood. Free and open outdoors, with Dongpirang Mural Village and Jungang Market right beside it for a combined visit.
