Yi Sun-sin Park is set on a seaside hill overlooking the historic site of the Battle of Hansan, where a large statue of the admiral stands amid open Hallyeosudo sea views. Its lawns and coastal paths are well maintained for family outings and strolls, and on summer nights the nearby Tongyeong Hansan Battle Festival brings a lively buzz. As an open-air park, admission is free and it is always open. It's about 10 minutes from central Tongyeong by car.
