Overview

The Tongyeong Cable Car climbs about 1.9km near the summit of Mireuksan - among Korea's longest tourist cable cars - and from the top observatory you can take in the Hallyeosudo archipelago dotted with islands large and small. On clear days the view reaches as far as Tsushima. Round-trip fare is around KRW 17,000 for adults, with hours generally around 09:30-17:00 (varying by season and day; closed in bad weather). At the top, a short deck trail continues to the actual Mireuksan peak.
