Overview
Opened in 1964 on a working film studio lot, Universal Studios Hollywood is the world's first movie-themed amusement park. Blockbuster-themed attractions include the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Minion Mayhem, Transformers, and Super Nintendo World, while the Studio Tour through real film sets is a signature experience unique to Universal. Super Nintendo World (opened 2023) features the Mario Kart ride and interactive Power-Up Bands. Admission $109-159. Free shuttle from Universal City Metro Red Line station.
