Overview
Opened in 2014, the Aga Khan Museum is North America's first museum dedicated exclusively to Islamic art, housed in a white granite building designed by Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki. It holds around 1,000 works including manuscripts, ceramics, and miniature paintings from across the Islamic world, surrounded by a Persian-style charbagh garden. Adult admission is CA$20, with free entry for visitors 25 and under. Every Wednesday from 4-8 PM, admission is free for everyone.
