Overview
Opened in 1974, the Toronto Zoo is one of the largest zoos in North America, located about 35 kilometres northeast of downtown. It's divided into continent-themed zones - Africa, Americas, Asia, and Australasia - housing more than 5,000 animals. Adult admission is roughly CA$33, with prices and hours varying by season. Parking costs an additional CA$20 per vehicle.
