Overview
The Art Gallery of Ontario, opened in 1900, is one of Canada's largest art museums. In 2008 architect Frank Gehry led a major renovation, giving the building its distinctive wood-and-glass facade. The AGO holds about 90,000 works, including European paintings, Indigenous Canadian art, and Inuit sculpture. Adult single-day admission is CA$30, while visitors 25 and under can enter free year-round. It's located on Dundas Street West downtown, a short walk from St. Patrick subway station.
