Overview
The Shanghai Ocean Aquarium sits in Lujiazui right beside the Oriental Pearl Tower, its 155m underwater tunnel ranking among the longest aquarium tunnels in the world. Across 28 themed zones recreating ecosystems from Chinese rivers and seas to Antarctica, the Amazon, and coral reefs, visitors encounter some 30,000 marine creatures including sharks, rays, penguins, and jellyfish.
