Overview

Andong Hahoe Village is a Joseon-era clan village set on unusual terrain where the Nakdong River loops around it in an S-shape, preserving 600 years of tradition and inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strolling among tiled and thatched houses, academies, and pavilions offers a glimpse of Joseon literati life, and you can enjoy regular Hahoe Mask Dance performances. Adult admission is around KRW 5,000 (including shuttle bus), with hours generally 09:00-18:00 (shorter in winter). Climbing Buyongdae cliff across the river gives a full view of the village.
