Opened in 1973 around the collection donated by the family of Vincent's brother Theo, this is the world's foremost Van Gogh museum. It holds over 200 paintings - including 'The Potato Eaters,' 'Sunflowers,' 'Almond Blossom,' and 'Wheatfield with Crows' - alongside more than 500 drawings. Arranged chronologically, the galleries trace Van Gogh's evolution from dark early works to the luminous, impressionist-influenced palette of his final years.
