Overview
The world's largest sculpture park dedicated to a single artist features 212 works by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland, the work of his lifetime. Tracing human emotion and relationships from birth to death, the sculptures line an 850 m axis. Its centerpiece, the Monolith, is a 17 m granite column carved with 121 intertwined human figures. Located inside Frogner Park, the grounds are free and open 24 hours.
