Overview
Spanning 175 hectares, the Gothenburg Botanical Garden is one of Europe's largest, growing over 16,000 plant species. Themed sections include a Japanese garden, rock garden, herb garden, and bamboo grove. Spring brings 10,000+ tulips and daffodils, while summer fills with roses and lavender. The adjoining nature reserve has wild forest trails and lakes for a real escape into nature. Free admission to gardens (greenhouse about SEK 20). Trams 1/2/7/8 to Botaniska stop.
