Overview
Opened in 2001, Universeum is Northern Europe's largest combined science center, aquarium, and rainforest, with all 7 floors devoted to science and nature experiences. The living tropical rainforest zone features free-flying butterflies, birds, and monkeys, while massive aquariums hold sharks and rays. The space zone offers a Mars exploration experience, and the global garden teaches about climate change and the planet. Right next to Liseberg, popular with families. Admission about SEK 295 (EUR 26). Trams 5/6/8/13 to Korsvägen stop.
