Overview
Asiatique The Riverfront occupies the site of the former East India Company docks on the east bank of the Chao Phraya and has been one of Bangkok's hottest evening spots since opening in 2012. Some 1,500 shops and 40-plus restaurants spread across four districts, and the 60 m Asiatique Sky Ferris wheel (THB 300 single ride) offers 360-degree views of the river and Bangkok skyline. Calypso cabaret and live Muay Thai shows are popular too. Arriving via the free shuttle boat from Sathorn Pier is by far the most atmospheric way in. Free entry. About 10 minutes by free shuttle boat from BTS Saphan Taksin Station.
Opening Hours
Daily 16:00-24:00
Travel Tips
The free shuttle boat from Saphan Taksin (16:00-23:30, every 15 min) is the most convenient access. Book the Calypso Cabaret shows (20:15, 21:45) in advance.
