Overview
One of Bangkok's oldest temples, Wat Pho is best known for its 46 m long, 15 m tall gilded Reclining Buddha. The feet are inlaid with mother-of-pearl displaying 108 auspicious symbols, a showcase of refined Thai craft. The compound holds about 1,000 Buddha images and 91 chedis, and as the home of Thailand's traditional massage school you can also receive authentic Thai massage on site. It's a 10-minute walk from Wat Phra Kaew, perfect to pair on the same day. Admission THB 300 (includes a bottle of water). A 5-minute walk from Tha Tien pier.
