Overview
Of the five peaks named for the five elements, Thuy Son (Water Mountain) is the one to climb — by stairs or elevator — through limestone caves sheltering Buddhist and Hindu shrines. In Huyen Khong Cave, sunlight pours through ceiling clefts (best around 10-11am) to magical effect, and the summit lookouts sweep My Khe and the Non Nuoc coastline. The stone-carving village at the base shows off the marble craft.
