Overview
Opened in 2010, the 262 m, 68-floor Bitexco Financial Tower is one of Vietnam's signature skyscrapers, standing in the heart of District 1. Its curved design is inspired by a lotus bud — Vietnam's national flower. The Saigon Skydeck observation deck on the 49th floor offers 360-degree panoramic views of the Saigon River, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market, and as far as the Mekong Delta. EON Heli Bar and EON 51 cafe-restaurant on floors 50-52 also let you enjoy cocktails or dining with the night view. Skydeck admission about VND 200,000 (foreigners); EON Cafe requires only a drink order (from about VND 200,000) to use the view. Central District 1, about 10 minutes' walk from Ben Thanh Market.
Travel Tips
Arrive an hour before sunset (around 17:00-17:30) to enjoy both day and night views. To save on the Skydeck ticket, order a drink at EON Cafe — it's better value for the same view.
