Overview
Train World opened to mark the 175th anniversary of Belgium's first railway and fills 8,000 square meters inside the historic Schaerbeek railway station. Visitors can touch and board locomotives and carriages spanning eras — from the 'Pays de Waes,' Belgium's oldest preserved steam engine, to the streamlined 'Type 12,' which set a world speed record in 1939. Its many hands-on interactive exhibits make it especially popular with families. Admission about EUR 15. 2-minute walk from Schaerbeek station.
