Overview
A roughly 600-meter street near Hamburg's harbour, Reeperbahn is the city's most famous entertainment district — nicknamed 'the most sinful mile.' Between 1960 and 1962, the unknown Beatles honed their sound playing clubs here; the Beatles-Platz square and the clubs where they performed (Indra, Kaiserkeller) are still preserved. Today the street is lined with live music venues, musical theaters (Lion King, Mary Poppins), bars, and restaurants. Every September, the Reeperbahn Festival is Europe's largest club festival. Free to walk (shows priced separately). 1-minute walk from S-Bahn Reeperbahn or U-Bahn St. Pauli.
Opening Hours
Open 24 hours (individual venues vary)
Travel Tips
