Overview
Built in the late 19th century, the world's largest brick warehouse complex was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. Gothic-style red-brick buildings lining the canals create Hamburg's most photogenic scene. Today the warehouses house Miniatur Wunderland, the Hamburg Dungeon, a coffee museum, a spice museum, and more. The canal reflections under night lighting are especially magical. Free to walk around. 5-minute walk from U-Bahn Meßberg (Line 1) or Überseequartier (Line 4).
Opening Hours
Exterior open 24 hours; interior museums keep their own hours.
Travel Tips
For the best nighttime reflection photos, head to Poggenmühlenbrücke. Book Miniatur Wunderland online in advance — it sells out.
