Overview
Goa Gajah ('Elephant Cave') is a Hindu-Buddhist site believed to date from around the 11th century. Behind its fearsome carved entrance lies a narrow cave housing a Ganesha statue and a Shiva lingam. Outside the cave are bathing pool ruins with carved fountain figures, and the site is an easy 15-minute drive from Ubud. Admission is about IDR 50,000.
