Overview
Standing 320 m above sea level, Floyen is reached from downtown in about 6 minutes on the Floibanen funicular. From the summit, panoramic views unfold over Bergen, the harbor, and the surrounding fjords and islands. Forest trails and well-marked hiking routes are dotted with troll sculptures. On clear days, you can spot the Hardangerfjord, and the night views are stunning. Locals love to linger at the summit cafe with a waffle in hand.
