Overview
The home of Norway's greatest composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), where he lived for 22 years. The yellow Victorian villa, his composer's hut by the lake, and his lakeside grave create a peaceful, atmospheric setting. Grieg's piano, furniture, and handwritten scores are preserved, and the adjacent concert hall hosts daily Grieg concerts in summer. Feel the inspiration behind 'Peer Gynt' and the Piano Concerto in A minor. Admission about NOK 130 (concerts separate). 20-min walk from Hop tram stop (line 1 from Bergen Central).
Opening Hours
