Overview
Begnas Lake is Nepal's third-largest lake, located east of Pokhara. Far less developed than Phewa, it offers a tranquil escape with beautiful reflections of the Annapurna range on clear days. Small fishing villages dot the shore, offering a glimpse of local life. Boating and lakeside treks are popular activities, and you can enjoy freshly caught fish from local farms. Free entry (boat rental about NPR 300-500/hour). About 30 minutes by bus from Lakeside.
