White-sand beaches like Onetangi Bay, Palm Beach, and Oneroa Beach are stunning, and art galleries and boutique restaurants dot the island. Wine-hopping tours by bus are the most popular activity. Travel Tips
The hop-on hop-off wine tour bus makes vineyard visits easy. Swimming at Onetangi Beach is also recommended. Book ferries ahead on summer weekends as they sell out.
