Overview
Huaca Pucllana is a roughly 1,500-year-old adobe pyramid from the Lima culture (AD 200-700), standing remarkably in the middle of the Miraflores residential district. The site, including the 22m-high pyramid, is still being excavated and restored. Guided tours explain the ancient Lima people's construction techniques and religious rituals. Night tours are especially striking, with the illuminated pyramid contrasting against the modern skyline. The on-site restaurant offers dining with a view of the lit pyramid. Admission PEN 15. Walking distance from central Miraflores.
