Overview
Pachacamac is a vast archaeological site about 40km south of Lima on the Pacific coast, where the Lima, Wari, Ichma, and Inca civilizations built temples over roughly 1,800 years. The Sun Temple and Temple of the Moon, dedicated to the creator god Pachacamac, are the highlights, and the view of the Pacific from the ruins is striking. A modern on-site museum displays excavated artifacts and explains the layered history of the site. Admission PEN 15. About 40 minutes by taxi from Miraflores.
Opening Hours
