Overview
Opposite the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes, this museum tells the 1,000-year story of Jewish life in Poland through eight immersive galleries. A full-scale reconstruction of a medieval wooden synagogue, interactive exhibits, and multimedia installations bring each era's Jewish community vividly to life. Winner of the 2016 European Museum of the Year Award, it offers a balanced view covering not only the Holocaust but also centuries of coexistence and prosperity.
