Overview
Once a 19th-century textile factory complex, LX Factory was transformed from 2008 into one of Lisbon's top creative quarters in the Alcântara district. Set directly beneath the 25 de Abril Bridge, it's packed with vintage boutiques, indie design studios, concept cafes, street-art murals, galleries, and restaurants. Ler Devagar bookstore - voted one of the world's most beautiful, with a flying bicycle sculpture above the shelves - is a must-see. Sunday mornings bring the LX Market with vintage and crafts, and the rooftop Rio Maravilha bar offers cocktails with Tagus and Cristo Rei views. Free to enter. Take Tram 15E or train to Alcântara-Mar station.
Opening Hours
