Overview
In 2014, Time Out magazine reimagined the 1892 Mercado da Ribeira into this gourmet food hall where 26 of Lisbon's top chefs and restaurants share one roof. Sample Michelin-starred Henrique Sá Pessoa's gastropub, Manuel Maldonado's classic Portuguese plates, and Miguel Castro e Silva's desserts - the cream of Portuguese cuisine at reasonable prices (typically EUR 8-18). The traditional market section selling fresh produce and fish still operates, and live music regularly adds to the atmosphere. Free entry; food priced per stall. Next to Cais do Sodré station.
