Overview
Completed in 1923, Stockholm City Hall is famous for hosting the Nobel Prize banquet every 10 December in the Blue Hall (which, despite the name, is built of red brick). The Golden Hall dazzles with 19 million gilded mosaic tiles depicting Swedish history. Climb the 106m tower for sweeping views over Gamla Stan and the city centre. Built in National Romantic style from 8 million red bricks, it's a Stockholm landmark.
