Overview
Located near Puerto Madero, this wetland reserve was designated a Ramsar site in 2005 and offers a chance to spot native birds and plants just steps from downtown. Admission is free, with a south entrance at Av. Tristán Achával Rodríguez 1550 and a north entrance near Viamonte. It's open from 8am to 6pm in winter (April-October) and until 7pm in summer (November-March), closed on Mondays and rainy days. It's about a 9-block walk from Plaza de Mayo station (Line A) or Catedral station (Line D).
