The Paris of South America. Argentina's capital is famed for tango, steak, and European-style architecture. Recoleta and Palermo are lined with French-style buildings and green spaces, while San Telmo is the antiques and tango quarter. Puerto Madero has been redeveloped with modern restaurants and galleries, and nightlife runs late — restaurants don't fill up until after midnight. The most European city in South America.
