Overview
Cerro Castor is the world's southernmost ski resort, about 26km from Ushuaia, operating from June to October. With 34 runs and 12 lifts spanning 195-1,057m elevation, it caters to all skill levels from beginners to experts. The powdery Patagonian snow and runs through sub-Antarctic forest offer a unique skiing experience, and the summit affords views all the way to the Beagle Channel. Day lift pass about ARS 40,000. Shuttle buses run from Ushuaia.
