Overview
Isla Martillo belongs to Estancia Harberton but can only be visited via the exclusive tour operated by Piratour, priced at roughly USD 250-300 per person. The excursion includes a drive from Ushuaia followed by a 15-minute zodiac crossing and about an hour of guided walking among the penguins; a separate Harberton ranch entrance fee (around ARS 50,000) applies. December is best for seeing newly hatched chicks.
