Overview
Located right at the entrance to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, the Hummingbird Gallery doubles as a photo gallery and gift shop, but its real draw is the dozens of hummingbird feeders set up out front. More than 30 hummingbird species flit by close enough to touch, and it's a favorite with photographers. Admission is free, with donations supporting the feeders. It's a natural stop before or after visiting the reserve.
